Audition with Printz Dance Project
Sunday, August 18, 4:00-6:00 PM - ODC Audition Series
We’re seeking new company members for our upcoming repertory shows at the Joe Goode Annex, SF as well as for our 2020 performance season!
In addition, 10-12 dancers will be invited to enroll in Artistic Director, Stacey Printz's Invitational Fall Performance Workshop with the workshop piece performing alongside PDP in the November shows.
Dancers must be available for tech/performances November 4th-10th. Most rehearsals are Wednesday evenings and Sundays (times TBD) in SF, with a few additional rehearsals added as needed (in SF, East Bay or Marin).
We’re looking for dancers with a high level of skills in a mix of any of the following styles: contemporary, modern, jazz, hip-hop, plus a strong ability to partner with vibrant, expressive performance quality. Dedicated, hardworking, positive people are a must. We work hard/play hard and believe in people and process as core values. Must be down to dig-in, explore, laugh, and sweat. No divas please.
Dancers are encouraged to come if interested in a company position, only the performance workshop, or both.
CRASH DANCE 2.0
POP-UP EVENT IN OAKLAND: WHERE A GREAT NIGHT OUT AND CONTEMPORARY-JAZZ DANCE PERFORMANCE COLLIDE
PDP is excited to announce this pop-up event of CRASH DANCE in Oakland in November. For this round, we are embracing the spirit of the speakeasy. Join us for an intimate event that brings a private house party-vibe and performance experience together in a cool warehouse space in West Oakland. We’re bringing back some classics and sprinkling in a bunch of fresh material, plus our rolling car seats, construction hazards, and yes... our graffiti-covered car will all be in full effect. We basically want a chance to hang with YOU - perform, listen and dance to some great music with Oakland's own DJ Heylove, party and celebrate the community. With capacity for only 45 people each night, this event will sell out. So please get your tickets NOW!
